It has been confirmed I will be fighting on the Siam Camp show in September if there is an opponent willing to fight should I add, I will start training after this Sundays show at Tara Leisure. I will be working hard with Andy and Master Kevin over the next 12 weeks and will be going through a lot of pain, mentally and physically. A lot of people think a fight is going in the slugging it out for 10 minutes. Not the case unfortunately. A martial artist has a lot of things to consider going in the ring or cage;
- How is the opponent going to react?
- Should I throw this attack now?
- Will I get countered if I do throw it?
I am looking forward to the training as well as hating the fact it's going to be painful. Although Andy and Master Kevin will be hurting me, it will be to make me a better fighter and to make sure I win my fight in September. I will probably be working on my dieting, cardio vascular and sparring over the coming months.
For my cardio I am planning on going on 1-2 mile runs every day and swimming Monday Wednesday and Friday, having Tuesday and Thursday for a rest.
